The day after Christmas, we had another present arrive...Grandma and Grandpa Riding came to visit! Yay! The girls (and I...) were beside ourselves with excitement. :)

(Funny story about the dress...my mom got the girls these dresses...it wasn't until much later in the day that we realized that Makenna was actually wearing Natalie's size 4 dress....haha! It is pretty stretchy!)

The next day we went to the mall to shop for Richard's birthday. The girls were spoiled by Grandma with a train ride.
They asked me to take a picture of them with the Peanuts blow up.
And then they needed to switch characters...
One of the days (I can't remember which one) I was feeling awful (from the flu and kidney stones), but the family wanted to go ice skating. Last year they had a little ice rink near us. They headed that way, but unfortunately they didn't have the ice rink this year. So they checked this thing out....not sure what it is.... :)
We had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa! We hit up Chi Town, PTerry's and Chuy's, went shopping, played golf, went ice skating (pics coming in another post), watched football, rang in the new year with lots of Rummikub, stayed up late, and just loved being with them! Thanks for coming to visit! We can't wait til Feb when you come back!
