Happy Birthday to Richard!
The old man turned even older....but he is still as awesome and handsome and amazing as ever...okay...even MORE so!
He decided he would take Makenna ice skating that day. It was her first time, and believe it or not, it was his too. We all went and had a great time (except for our ankles...man does ice skating hurt the ankles!).
This crazy lady didn't have any fear jumping out onto the ice. She made it 3/4 of the way around before I had my skates on! She can't wait to go back.

These two lasted the longest on the ice.
After giving the skates a twirl, we headed to a Japanese steakhouse for dinner.
We had some fabulous steak, fried rice, edamame and shrimp. Mmm.
We ended it at home with cherry pie (for Richard) and brownies (for the rest of us) and presents. He got an oil extractor for the boat...just what he asked for. :)
Richard declared this one of the best bdays in a while.
It was a good day. We loved being together!
