It's not the kind of super Saturday that usually comes to mind. We were just feeling rather crafty and productive today.
We started off the day building. Home Depot does a kids building workshop every first Saturday of the month . My girls missed it in March, but I happened to be there that day, so I picked up some cars for them to build another day. Today was the day.

They really love their cars!
And they didn't want to stop there. Makenna decided she would make something nice for Natalie...like an animal. Natalie wanted to do it to, so we ended up making two animals...one for Nati and one for Kenna.
They were so excited I let them iron. They wanted me to get Daddy, so he could see. :)
They also helped me pin and sew. They stuffed the animals mostly by themselves.

And then we headed out to the lake with some great friends! We fished a little, fed the ducks, splashed, and visited. It was a GREAT time.
