We went to Chick Fil A today for lunch. After she ate her chicken nuggets, she went to the play area. She spent nearly the entire 30+ minutes greeting kids as they walked in, helping or being concerned for the kids crying, talking to a girl who didn't have a friend to play with and visiting with all of these children's mothers. She even stood up for herself and another little boy, when a bigger boy started to get too rough.
I thought that maybe since she wasn't actually playing on the toys, she was ready to leave and didn't want to play. Not the case at all. She was rather disappointed to leave.
On the way home she told me about her friends that she "made up" (meaning new friends she made). She was excited about them.
