The girls had the day off for Columbus day. So we went out and had fun. :)
First we stopped at Walmart (YES that is fun! :)
Then we headed to a big park in Austin that the girls love. We spent a whopping 3 hours there!
We then went to see an Imax movie about the Arctic in 3D. Richard even got to come with us!
We finished the day at one of my favorite places in Austin...Chuy's. Mmm.
(Chuy's is a super yummy texmex restaurant...their salsa is to die for)

The girls really liked the 3D movie. Makenna kept trying to grab it all. Natalie was laughing uncontrollably when the credits were rolling at the beginning because they would break into ice shards and fly right at our faces. That was by far her favorite part. Makenna said her favorite part was when the Mama bear protected her babies from the big mean male bear that was trying to eat them.
We had a fabulous day together.
Also, while we were driving everywhere, Makenna and Natalie read books. We counted the pages Makenna read (keeping track for school) and counted over 300 pages in just that one day! Wow! She was also a sweet sister and helped Natalie, very patiently, to remember the words to the pages she couldn't remember.
