Makenna was named "Rockstar" of the classroom by her teacher! We are so proud of her!
It is basically the student of the month...but it is for the first 6 weeks of school and since their school is all about being a rockstar, they called the kids who got this award rockstars, and gave them blow up guitars! :)
They sent us a letter telling us about the award that she would be getting and invited us to the assembly where she would be given her award. Unfortunately, I didn't get it until 2 minutes before she got home from school the day of the assembly. :( So we weren't there to see her get it. Although, she was so excited when she got off the bus with the guitar and told me all about it!
We took her to the restaurant of her choice that night, which was Wendy's. And we made sure to praise her lots for doing such a good job in school! I am so happy that she has been listening and helpful to her teacher!
