with my children being sick. Makenna has been fighting a cold for about 6 weeks now...it gets better, then it comes back. Last week (the night before Thanksgiving) Makenna was up most of the night throwing up. And now she has a horrible stomach virus. She has a fever and a tummy ache. Poor girl! I hate seeing her sick. The doctor told me today that this virus is going around and lasts about 10 days with a few of those days throwing up and with fevers of 103. We don't want to stay home being sick anymore. We have new babies to go see. We miss church (yes it is true...Makenna wants to wear tights everyday so that we can go to church and last night she said we should go to church for Family Night...it's been a long time). And we want to play with friends. But at least we have Christmas (and Washington DC) to look forward to. Yes that is right...we are heading to DC for Christmas! Richard's sister Laura lives there. So we will focus on getting better for DC. For Aunt Laura. For Christmas.
